Under the hood
How it hangs together
01
ADS-B → winds
Every GPS-tracked aircraft is a flying anemometer if you know its airspeed. Wind Atlas solves the winds from the tracks.
02
HYSPLIT dispersion
Arcus sits on top and runs HYSPLIT adapters for plume tracking.
03
Runoff
OS Terrain 50 DEM × rainfall gauges → a runoff model layered into the IMS.
04
Numpy<2 pin
big-server X86_V2 baseline crashes on numpy 2.x — we keep it pinned to <2.
